At NBP we are a small family run business proudly focused on producing a range of Northland's finest manuka honeys.

We pride ourselves on our beekeeping. Our hives are regularly checked and maintained to ensure our bees are healthy and productive.

A happy bee is a productive bee. They can travel 4.5 km daily providing vital pollination of our food, native plants and bringing in delicious pure nectar which becomes honey for you.

The Mānuka Factor

Mānuka honey is unique to New Zealand and comes from the nectar of the Mānuka tree (Leptospermum Scoparium). Methylglyoxal (MGO) is one of the key antibacterial components naturally occuring in New Zealand Mānuka honey.

For hundreds of years, honey has been hailed as the 'nectar of the Gods'. Honey is nature's blessing. New Zealand native plants have, for centuries, been used by māori for their healing properties. Restore, revive, reinvigorate - Mother Nature's own medicine.

Our Guarantee

We can guarantee the authenticity of our product. We produce it ourselves and our honey is independently tested in Ministry of Primary Industry (MPI) accredited laboratories.

Our manuka blend honey has a manuka pollen count of 80+, and a 50+ MGO count. Incorporated is Northland's native tree flowers which all have health properties.

NBP's Mānuka Honey is higher in activity 10+ with 263+ MGO. Once again, a great honey with great health properties and a beautiful taste.

All our honey is raw, natural and never cooked.

We operate a new purpose built honey extraction facility. We have an A+ audit pass. Our staff are fully trained and commited to maintaining the highest levels of food hygine and honey purity.
